Rules for Life in Ministry From Pastor William E. YaegerI owe my ministry life to Bill Yaeger who accepted me into his Intern Training ministry and provided me with invaluable mentoring that has done me well for 40 years of ministry. Here are nine principles he practiced and modeled:

  1. Praise the opposition

  2. Don't get angry every time there is a problem

  3. Never read an unsigned letter

  4. Don't look for trouble (Don't expect God to be wrong everytime)

  5. Act first, don't react

  6. Learn to confront - straighten out misunderstandings

  7. Don't be sucked in. Don't listen to poison

  8. Pray

  9. Let the Lord God defend you
